Nanda Environmental Protection to ‘score’! Help Hangzhou electric power to create a new explosion of green office

As of May 2025, in the State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. Hangzhou Power Supply Company headquarters park, by Hangzhou Nanda Environmental Protection Science and Technology Co., Ltd. laid kitchen waste in situ treatment project has been officially running for more than half a year. The project's average daily processing capacity of 200 kg, can be fully absorbed in the park canteen produced by the fruit, food waste and other Organic Waste, help Hangzhou electric power ‘to achieve’ office zero waste "goal."

The project adopts small-scale intelligent biodegradation equipment independently developed by Nanda Environmental Protection, and through integrated microbial hydrolysis technology kitchen Waste Reduction rate reaches more than 90% after 24 hours of treatment, and the residues are converted into organic fertiliser raw materials, which are directly used for the maintenance of green plants in the park. Compared with the traditional mode of landfill transport, the project can significantly reduce the annual mileage of waste transport, reduce carbon emissions, and simultaneously save the cost of waste disposal.

‘The power system is both a practitioner of energy change and a vanguard of green office.’ The head of Hangzhou Electric Power's logistics management said. The project serves as a demonstration case of environmental protection, helping the Hangzhou Electric Power Company canteen to be recognised as the State Grid system's green canteen benchmark in 2024.

The technical team of Nanda Environmental Protection revealed that the equipment supports remote intelligent monitoring and can be flexibly adapted to the scenarios of enterprises, public institutions and schools, providing lightweight solutions for more urban distributed waste treatment.
