Located within the Hongyi Environmental Education Base in the New Territories of Hong Kong, it is the first strategic pilot project of cooperation between Hangzhou Nanda Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. and Hongyi Environmental Education Development Fund in Hong Kong. The project processes an average of 200kg of kitchen waste per day, using a dual drive model of "technology+education" to help Hong Kong build a "waste community closed-loop" system and provide practical samples for urban low-carbon transformation.

Project Features: From Technological Innovation to Urban Aesthetics

 Localized Design: Purple gray Body Leads Environmental Fashion
In response to the compact urban space and high community participation in Hong Kong, Nanda Environmental Protection has customized and developed smart kitchen waste treatment equipment. The body is decorated with the iconic purple color of Hong Kong Kitchen Waste Recycling, combined with modular structure and intelligent touch interface, occupying only 3 square meters, and can seamlessly integrate into communities, schools and other scenes. The equipment operates with low noise, becoming a model of "invisible" environmental infrastructure.

Technological breakthrough: room temperature degradation linked to one click fertilizer production
The project adopts the room temperature aerobic biological hydrolysis process independently developed by Nanda Environmental Protection, which does not require external heating. The reduction rate of kitchen waste after 8-24 hours of degradation is over 90%, and the residue rate is less than 10%. Equipped with a "one click fertilizer making machine", the effluent is converted into nutrient solution that meets the liquid fertilizer standards of the Hong Kong Organic Resource Centre. It can be directly used for community greening or for citizens to collect, achieving "in building circulation".

Carbon reduction effectiveness: data embellishes green ledger
According to calculations, a single device can process 73 tons of kitchen waste annually, which can significantly reduce carbon emissions from secondary transportation of garbage. The produced liquid fertilizer can replace chemical fertilizers and achieve additional carbon reduction, equivalent to planting hundreds of green trees.

Social Value: From Environmental Education to Community Empowerment

As the core carrier of the Hongyi Environmental Education Development Fund's "Kitchen Waste Recycling Pilot Program", this project deeply integrates educational functions:
Interactive visit: Real time display of garbage degradation process through touch digital screen and transparent cabin, making "turning waste into treasure" tangible and perceptible;
Citizen Workshop: Regularly hold "Kitchen Waste to Green Plants" workshops, where residents can bring their own fruit peels and vegetable leaves to experience on-site fertilization and exchange for green plants;

This project has verified the feasibility of the 'high-density urban community disposal plan', "said the project leader of Nanda Environmental Protection.
