Jin Chengtao, Secretary of the Party Working Committee and District Party Committee of Qiantang New Area, led a delegation to visit and inspect the NanDa Technology Qiantang Perishable Waste Treatment

On the morning of August 29, Jin Chengtao, Secretary of the Party Working Committee and District Party Committee of Hangzhou Qiantang New Area, along with Shen Yanjun, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and District Chief, visited the Qiantang Perishable Waste Treatment Center of Hangzhou Nanda Technology Co., Ltd. to conduct a special inspection and research on the project's operational status. Hu Guowei, Deputy Director of the District Administrative Committee, Member of the District Government Party Leadership Group, and Deputy District Chief, and Hu Qian, Deputy Director of the District Administrative Committee and Member of the District Government Party Leadership Group, participated in the visit. Accompanying the delegation were Zheng Zhoufeng, Secretary of the Lijing Subdistrict Party Working Committee; Xu Zhen, Director of the District Urban Management Bureau; Chai Ming, Chairman of the District Urban Development Group; and Qiu Zhenggeng, Co-founder and Deputy General Manager of Nanda Technology.

Secretary Jin Chengtao and his delegation visited the project's production frontlines, inspecting the intelligent weighing and reception system for perishable waste, the high-efficiency sorting and pretreatment workshop, the ambient-temperature aerobic biological hydrolysis treatment facility, and the deep processing area for resource-recycled products. Throughout the tour, they listened attentively to a detailed presentation by NanDa Technology's management on the project's process flow, technical features, operational status, and environmental benefits. Secretary Jin focused particularly on the project's tangible achievements in emissions reduction, carbon mitigation, and resource regeneration. He engaged in in-depth discussions with on-site technicians regarding key issues such as product application domains and future prospects. He fully affirmed the project's positive role in enhancing the new district's solid Waste Disposal capacity and advancing resource circulation levels. He encouraged the enterprise to continuously strengthen technological innovation and safety management, aiming to establish a benchmark project for the new district's “Zero-Waste City” initiative.

The Qiantang Resource Recycling Center project is a flagship environmental initiative in Qiantang New Area, constructed and operated by Nanda Technology. Designed to process 110,000 tons of perishable waste annually, it employs advanced core technologies such as ambient-temperature aerobic hydrolysis to convert Organic Waste intogreen energy sources and high-value-added materials including biodiesel, organic fertilizers, and microalgae feed, achieving efficient circular utilization of waste.

Since its full operation, the project has significantly elevated the New District's standards for harmless and resource-efficient household waste treatment. Its successful implementation exemplifies Qiantang New District's commitment to advancing Xi Jinping's ecological civilization philosophy and executing the “crucial small matter” of waste sorting. Moving forward, the project will focus on comprehensive carbon reduction and resource regeneration, strengthen digital empowerment and technological innovation, and strive to establish a distinctive Qiantang model for green, low-carbon, circular development, contributing fresh momentum to the city's household Waste Management efforts.
