Everyone Speaks Safety, Everyone Knows Emergency Response 丨 Nanda Technology Carries Out ‘Work Safety Month’ Limited Space Emergency Response and Rescue Exercise

June is the 24th ‘Work Safety Month’ in China, with the theme of ‘Everyone talks about safety, everyone knows how to respond to emergencies - look for hidden safety hazards around you’. In order to carry out the requirements of the theme and effectively improve the risk prevention and emergency response capability of limited space operation, NandaTechnology recently held a comprehensive limited space emergency rescue drill in Qiantang Perishable Waste Disposal Centre, which was close to the actual operation.

This drill is closely related to the actual project, simulating the dangerous situation of the workshop underground pump room in the equipment maintenance operation of the sudden loss of personnel asphyxiation. The exercise was conducted in strict accordance with the emergency plan activation procedures, covering key aspects such as risk discovery, emergency report, command and dispatch, rapid response, professional rescue, medical care and post-disposal. Each emergency team (command, rescue, alert, medical, logistics) responded quickly and efficiently, showing good emergency quality and practical ability.

The exercise particularly emphasised the key role of safety guardianship and the standardisation of the information reporting process to ensure smooth instructions and timely response in unexpected situations. The whole drill process is well organised, commanded and disposed of properly, effectively testing the practicality and operability of the project's special emergency plan for limited space. After the end of the drill, the project safety officer made a review on the spot. He affirmed the effect of the drill, and re-emphasised: we must firmly establish the guiding ideology of ‘practice for war’, familiarise ourselves with the process through regular drills, sharpen the mechanism, and refine the team; we must have a deep understanding of the importance of production safety, and tighten the safety string at all times; we must adhere to the ‘safety first and prevention first’ policy, and put the risk and risk management in the first place. We must adhere to the policy of ‘safety first, prevention first’, and do risk control and hidden danger investigation and management on a daily basis, strictly on a regular basis, so as to prevent and resolve major safety risks from the source.

This drill is not only an effective test of the project's emergency rescue capability in limited space operation, but also a deep strengthening of the safety awareness of all staff. It strongly promoted the concept of ‘everyone talks about safety, everyone knows emergency response’ to take root in the project line, and further strengthened the foundation of the project's safety production.
